With Hurricane Earl touching down this weekend, we thought it would be fun to share some of our favorite rainy day activities.1. Organize Your Shoes
Nothing feels better than getting organized, and when it comes to treating your shoes well and extending their lives, proper storage is key.
Shoebuy.com carries some great storage products, including Shoe Totes, Boxes, and things like Boot Shapers seen below:
They are also having a Labor Day Sale this weekend with 20% off everything, and as always Free Shipping both ways.http://www.shoebuy.com/shoe-storage.htmTszuji.com also sells a variety of shoe storage solutions, from clear boxes to the shoe wheel below (kind of cool looking!)

2. Get a Pedi
What better way to spend a rainy day? Pamper your feet! and assuming the storm passes in time for that Labor Day party on Monday, you will be pedi-ready in your open toed heels!

Bliss offers the most amazing pedicure options, including the "Pedi-Coloda" which includes a pineapple-infused coconut milk soak, a shredded coconut scrub, a hot sea shell massage, and a beach-worthy polish – all while you sip a virgin piƱa colada! Sounds like paradise!
3. Read a Great Book (or 5!)Ok, it may be cliche, but reading and rainy days really do go hand in hand. One our favorite authors is Emily Giffin - if you haven't read any of her books, the time is now!

Her style, like many of the characters in her books, is familiar and inviting, and her plots are so relevant, but always with many twists and surprises along the way. Her most recent release, Heart of the Matter, is so good, but if you're feeling ambitious, it's better to start with her first book, Something Borrowed, and read each of her 5 books consecutively (but not necessary to read them in order, they can all stand on their own).

And don't despair, the latest weather update says that Earl should be winding down by Sunday in most of the Northeast, so the weekend won't be a complete washout.
Happy Labor Day!
Love these ideas! Even though it isn't raining in Abu Dhabi, I went with idea #2 last night...essie colors: starter wife (mani) and bermuda shorts (pedi)!
